Justine Shapiro arrives in England to investigate the varied historical treats it has to offer the traveller. She begins her trip by witnessing a battle re-enactment between the Saxons and Normans, visits the building that inspired the classic 'Dracula' the Abbey of Whitby and then joins the 'Magical Mystery Tour' of the Beatles' Liverpool. She then goes on to Ottery St Mary to celebrate Guy Fawkes night and finally finishes in London by visiting Camden, the East End and Brixton.
